LoveManiac Android APK Guide
Only install an Android build when it is offered by the official LoveManiac release page. Do not trust pages that claim to have a "mod", "unlocked", or "newest" APK without a source.
Install steps
- Download only the Android file listed on the official page.
- Open your Downloads folder and check that the file name matches the official listing.
- When Android asks for permission to install from your browser or file manager, allow it only for that one trusted app.
- Install the APK, launch the game once, then turn the "install unknown apps" permission off again if you do not need it.
Common install errors
"App not installed"
Remove an older incompatible copy first, check that the download completed, and confirm that your Android version is supported by the official build. Do not replace it with a random mirror.
"File cannot be opened"
The download may be incomplete or may be an archive rather than a direct APK. Return to the official page and download the listed Android file again.
Stay source-safe
This site will never ask players to disable device security, install a separate downloader, or enter a password to receive LoveManiac. Those are warning signs, not normal install steps.
Before installing an Android build
Check available storage, charge the device, and make sure the file finished downloading before opening it. A partial download can produce the same error as an incompatible package. If an older LoveManiac installation exists, note your save location first. Removing an app can also remove local data depending on the device and how the game stores saves.
Android security prompts are not proof that a file is trustworthy. They only describe the permission being requested. Confirm the source, package name, and release notes first. Never install a second downloader, a browser extension, or a file that asks for unrelated access.
Compatibility and storage checks
Android devices differ in operating system version, processor architecture, screen size, and available storage. Make room for both the downloaded file and the installed application; an install can fail when the device has only enough space for the APK itself.
Do not assume that an APK from an older release can be installed over every newer build. An incompatible signature or package version may require a clean install, and removing an app can affect local saves. Back up anything important using the game's documented method before uninstalling. If no backup method is provided, preserve the old installation until you have confirmed the new release works.
What information to report
When contacting the developer, include the Android version, device model, LoveManiac build, free storage, and exact error message. Do not post private account details or download a file supplied by an unknown commenter as a “fix.”
